WE DISCOVER TALENTS

Young Cinema Foundation film festival, later named Euroshorts, was created in 1992, and the international short film contest - 7 years later. Our aim is to promote and support the young artists.

Wa have shown nearly 1,000 films made by young filmmakers so far and we have chosen the best ones.  We had a pleasure to visit almost 100 cities of Poland. It gave us the chance to create many opportunities for dialogue between artists and viewers. Many of our Participants had a significant success in their professional career.

The 27th Euroshorts Festival is 58 films from 29 countries. The Grand Prix is sponsored by the Mayor of the City of Gdansk and the Awards are made possible by the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and Polish Film Institute. The contest screenings are held in Gdansk, subsequent events in Warsaw, Zielona Góra and Katowice. In the beginning od 2019 a new Tour of Poland will be launched.

It would be hard to achieve our goals without your support.
